Hi …
I’m Aidan Saunders, founder of Squiffle Consulting. I set up Squiffle to help charities be successful in their mission by providing appropriate, enabling, creative IT solutions.
I first came across CiviCRM in 2010 and was impressed by both its objectives and its capabilities. I have been actively involved with Civi since then as a user, administrator and implementer and have seen the difference it can make to the functioning of organisations who are willing to invest in their future. It was already a good product back then and has continued to evolve steadily as it has become the cornerstone of an increasingly large and diverse range of charities and non-profits around the world.
My career background includes over 20 years with one of the world’s largest financial institutions designing and implementing global infrastructure solutions and leading teams of highly skilled engineers. Whatever the size or objective, bad IT systems lead to frustration, inefficiency and numerous other problems. Appropriate, enabling, creative IT systems help get the mission accomplished.
IT solutions to help you help others
At Squiffle, we follow a simple 3-step approach:
- Understand what is important to you
- Understand your current IT systems
- Find ways to make your IT support your goals more effectively
We work with you to understand your goals and then provide solutions that simplify, streamline, automate … whatever your needs.
Everyone has budget constraints. We understand that and seek solutions that provide what you need at a price you can afford.
We are big fans of open source software and especially CiviCRM. CiviCRM is all about growing and sustaining relationships with your supporters and partners. That’s vital for any charity, from the smallest to the very largest.
Charities, churches and other non-profits do some wonderful work but often need a helping hand to make their IT the supportive enabler that it should be. Let us be that helping hand!
Our relationship with CiviCRM
CiviCRM is an open-source project. It employs a small group of people known as the “core team” to provide leadership, co-ordination and infrastructure for the project and to enable the work of the wider CiviCRM community. Many charities choose to work with a CiviCRM Partner to provide expertise and support in their use of CiviCRM. Partners are not employed by CiviCRM – only the core team is. Squiffle is proud to be a CiviCRM Partner.
CiviCRM is a registered trademark of CIVICRM LLC.
